Care Instructions
You can clean your plated jewellery with a cotton ball or a soft micro fiber cloth to remove any dust and dirt when needed. Gently rubbing the surface of your gold plated jewellery using a soft jewellery cloth, helps restore shine. Do NOT use a polishing cloth as this will strip away the plating.
General rule, place your jewellery on last, after all lotions and perfumes, avoid water and take jewellery off when exercising or swimming. Exposing it to water and other chemicals, such as lotions and perfumes will cause it to tarnish easily.
- Wait until after you have sprayed on your favourite perfume to put jewellery on so that chemicals from the perfume do not interact with your jewellery’s metal.
- Wait until your lotion or cream is dry or has been absorbed by your skin before you wear your gold plated ring, bracelet or necklace.
- Make sure you don’t forget to remove your gold plated jewellery when you exercise or anything that would require heavy physical work, and also when swimming.
- To avoid scratches, wrap your jewellery in a soft cloth or keep it in a jewellery box separate from other types of jewellery you have.
